Hello! My name is Gonzalo and I am from Granada. I lived there for 24 years, grew up there and studied English as a Foreign Language.
I also trained as an ELE teacher and DELE examiner for all levels. I lived in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, for almost nine years, where I worked as a Spanish teacher with children and teenagers in state-subsidised schools and at the Cervantes Institute in Warsaw.
My motto is ‘there’s no better way to learn than by having fun’ 🙂
If you don’t see me around, it’s because I’m spending time with my little boy Leo. I’m also passionate about football, both watching and playing it, learning languages and discovering new cultures, cooking, dancing, singing flamenco and acting.

Hello! My name is Fran and I am from Elche, a city very close to Alicante. In 2015, just after completing my degree in History at the University of Alicante, I moved to Poland to study pedagogy and take several training courses for expert-level ELE teachers organised by the Cervantes Institute. I also obtained DELE examiner certificates for all levels.
I have worked as a Spanish teacher in a primary and secondary school in Warsaw (Poland) and at the Cervantes Institute in the same city.
I am a football fanatic and a history lover. I love spending time with my friends and family, but above all, I love teaching Spanish while having fun.
Teacher trainer and super teacher at the school.
Hello! My name is Rafa, and although I am from Úbeda, land of olive oil, I have been living in Granada, land of dreams, since I started as an ELE teacher back in 2000 at CastiLa, a wonderful school accredited by the Cervantes Institute opposite the Alhambra. Now I am the academic director and responsible for teacher training. Although I’m not one for labels, some teachers and students call me ‘the grammar wizard,’ and that sums up my great passion: cognitive grammar and its application to our classes to make our lives easier every day.
I tell them it’s not magic, it’s cognitive grammar.
My five-year-old daughter Lucía, her mum, a good book, writing, cinema, playing football and spending time in good company fill my life with moments to smile every day.

Hello! My name is Elena and I am from Granada. I studied Art History in my city and then went to England to improve my English and work. When I returned, I completed a Master’s Degree in Education at the University of Cadiz and trained as a Spanish teacher. I am passionate about my work!
I have experience teaching all levels and am a DELE examiner for the Instituto Cervantes. I am also a certified official tour guide.
I love sharing my language and culture, travelling, photography, art, continuous learning, and meeting people from different countries.

Hello! My name is Marina and, as my name suggests, I come from the sea. I was born and raised in Barbate, a fishing village in southern Andalusia. It’s so far south that you can see Africa from the coast!
In 2012, I came to Seville to study and ended up staying here. I graduated with a degree in Humanities because of my passion for cultures, history and the Spanish language. I also worked in a historical archive for two years, where I worked directly with original medieval documents! But I didn’t want to stay behind a desk, so I decided to make a change. I qualified as a Spanish teacher (ELE) in 2018, and since then I haven’t stopped teaching my language and sharing interesting facts. Yes, I love linguistic, historical and cultural curiosities about Spain and Andalusia; I’m always looking for the origins of words and expressions.
But it’s not all work, I also love cats, looking after my plants and going out for tapas in good company.

Hello! My name is Joaquín and I am from the beautiful city of Granada.
I studied Art History, but fate led me to Aguascalientes (Mexico) and then Padua (Italy). I completed a Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) and trained as a Spanish teacher. I have also been a DELE examiner for the Cervantes Institute since 2019.
My passions are art, literature and board games. I also enjoy discovering new places and cultures. My biggest dream would be to travel around the world, although I would always return to my favourite place: Granada.
I work as a Spanish and art history teacher at a secondary school in Padua. I always teach my students Spanish and its culture with passion. What can I say, I love it!
Shall I tell you a secret about me? I am very passionate about monumental cemeteries. No, don’t be alarmed, I love visiting them for their art, learning about their history and enjoying a stroll around them.

Hello! I’m Laura, a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language with over ten years of experience. I’m originally from Mazarrón, a coastal town in the Region of Murcia, although I lived in the Netherlands for a decade, where I studied and worked in different Spanish schools and even at the university.
In 2014, I graduated with a degree in Spanish Language and Literature (formerly Hispanic Philology) from the University of Murcia and then completed two master’s degrees at the University of Utrecht: one in modern literature and another that trained me as a Spanish teacher in secondary and higher education, with a special focus on bilingual and international education (IB).
In 2024, I returned to Spain and currently live in Sierra Nevada (Granada), in a rural setting with my family. From here, I continue to teach online, combining my passion for teaching with a lifestyle more connected to nature. I consider myself a creative, empathetic and approachable person, and I firmly believe in the importance of the emotional component in language learning.
In addition to teaching, I am passionate about music and writing. I have sung in different bands and musical projects, released my first solo album in 2022, and self-published a book of poetry and poetic prose entitled Mariposario.

My name is Ramón. I was born in Elche, the city of palm trees, but life has taken me down different paths. My latest destination was the city of Copernicus, where I have been working as a Spanish teacher since 2013.
I have always enjoyed writing, from novels to television scripts. I love creating new stories and enjoy bringing my imagination to life like a child.
I am a very curious person, I love meeting people and learning new things. Having students from different countries gives me the opportunity to learn about their cultures and surprise myself every day. For several years now, I have been preparing candidates for the different levels of the DELE exam. Each student is completely different, so I have to adapt to their needs. It’s impossible to get bored with this job!

Hello! I’m Vero, born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I graduated with a degree in Accounting from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and later completed a Master’s degree in Accounting in Australia. In 2018, I decided to make a change: I quit my job in finance and embarked on a one-way trip that allowed me to meet new people and discover new places and cultures. During that trip, I discovered my true passion: teaching Spanish.
In 2020, I became a certified teacher of Spanish as a foreign language (ELE) and since then I have not stopped teaching, learning from each student and continuing my training. In my classes, I like learning to be natural, creative and fun. I prepare them with dedication so that they are adapted to the needs, interests and objectives of each student. I also enjoy sharing experiences, stories, culture and curiosities.
Outside the classroom, you’ll find me drinking mate in a park or trying a new coffee in the city. I also love walking, reading, and going to the theatre. I travel slowly, enjoying staying in one place for weeks or months and immersing myself in everyday life, often house-sitting and pet-sitting. I recently started bouldering and hope to continue challenging myself, both on the walls and in life.
